I feel nice in writing out this iLayaraja Vs Rahman
comparison.

Although after the incoming of Rahman , Raja's fame has
been decreased and he also stopped composing more music.
Ppl may say that music taste has been changed. Thanks to
Rahman who has created this change. Although he is the
pick of the music directors today... I feel there is a
scent of artificiality in his computer generated
music.It is similar to adding artificial make-ups to our
face rather than our natural face. Musical extravaganza
is the word they use to say for his work...meaning
romba pagattaana , aadambaramaana , glossy music similar
to western style. It is like hi-class restaurant food that we
can get with "yetho" taste.

But in Raja's case , we can feel a sense of silence &
originality which I miss in R's music.Amaithiyaana ,
thelivaaana , tharamaana isai I can feel in him.

Take this scenario , if Rahman is given the opportunity
to compose a music with Raja as playback singer .. Im
sure that I will not be feeling real Raja's voice in his
album.But in reverse case, im sure that I will be
enjoying the real & melodious voice of Rahman in
Ilayaraja's music.

So i conclude that in Ilaya's music i can feel the voice
but in R's case im feeling only the noise.

By saying this im not going to stop hearing R's music
... I want both forms . As a music listner, i can give a
good music tip that you can also try & will definitely
appreciate it.

Tip is .. Keep listening to lot of R's music regularly
... Suddenly one day tune into Ilaya's music ..On that
day u yourself feel the difference and will accept my
statement.

Infact this blog has arised by practising the above
method.
