India is now a trillion-dollar economy.

According to a Credit Suisse report, Indian GDP at the current price level of the rupee (Rs 40.76 per $) stands at $1trillion. The strengthening rupee has now made India the 12th country to achieve this milestone.

Trillion means ?

10 pow 1 = ten
10 pow 2 = hundred

10 pow 6 = 10 lakh , 1 million
10 pow 9 = 1 billion , 1000 lakhs , 100 millions

Why reservations policy is implemented.

Currently our Indian Govt. is working hard in providing more privelege to the OBC candidates. Lets discover some of the truth that exists in the past.

Misconception :

In the past FC ppl enjoyed a lot and oppressed the low caste ppl , so as a wheel of fortune , it is now the turn of OBC to enjoy more by providing more privelges in IIT / IIM.

Real Fact :

For instance, during 1822-25 the share of the Brahmin students in indigenous schools in Tamil-speaking areas accounted for 13 per cent in South Arcot to some 23 per cent in Madras, while the OBCs accounted for 70 per cent in Salem and Tirunelveli and 84 per cent in South Arcot.

Most of the rulers like Shivaji , Veerapandiya Kattabomman etc. of the ancient India were all from OBC. Infact they were all oppressed by the Britishers and not by the fellow upper caste people.

Reasoning : Britishers played divide and rule on India ,so it is their conspiracy which had created the animosity between FC and OBC ppl.
Sad Fact : Politicians today , also follows the same kind of rule as Britishers , by creating the hatred between Hindu Majority and (Christians & Muslims ) Minorities .
What it Signifies : It siginifies that there is real dearth of creative and innovative ideas among our politicians which ultimatly leads to poverty-ridden society.

Point to be Noted :

We are almost sixty years since Independence, we still have only one AIIMS, seven IITs and six IIMs for a billion-plus population. Even Singapore would have more educational institutions for its 4 million population.

Reason :

The idea is to restrict the supply versus demand. Huge Demand vs Less Supply of skilled graduates from the top cream Institutions. If all ppl get the education and know what is happening around the world , what kind of role will these politicians play ?

These politicians had created a false impressions on the mindsets of billions , as if FC ppl had oppressed the low caste ppl therby creating two sets of ppl , One who lives in a feel of guilt as if they had oppressed their fellow low caste countrymen and other set of ppl with inferiority complex as if they had been oppressed and silently longing to enjoy the privelge offered to them.

"Our population comprises people who live either on guilt or on an inferiority complex."

Moral of the Story :

Current policy of reservation is to divide ppl thru caste rather than creating friendly , healthy relationship among different sects of ppl.
