This friday i had my first beer. It was the long felt dream .. Apdi enaathaan irukku ithula ... today im satisfied .. brings me the feeling that im also one among the grown-ups.

Bitterness , bitterness .... is the first feeling that i get while having this .... And also felt that this bitterness of taste will not change even if i drink it after a month ... then why many ppl are addicted to it ?? Reason i got is very funny but true ...

In our younger days , we will be happy whatever we experience.Our life will be sweet. So even the coffe / Maltova that we had will be very sweet to us ... Plus * Plus = Plus.

As we grow up , we will face many failures ,worries , unnecessary fear of future become the norm of our day-to-day life. Monotonocity makes our life bitter ... At that time , drinking this bitterness nullifies the real bitterness in life. Again the simple Mathematical formula explains this ... Minus * Minus = Plus ... Ithaamba Valka !!

My all time favorite fancy director ... What is special about this man is ....... He is a man with lot of expectations as far as Kollywood is concerned .... His every upcoming movies will always be full of expectations ... No other director in Tamil has faced that much expectations from the audience. He is always under pressure in satisfying those expectations.That is, he has to give 200% more than the audience's expectations in his movie to satisfy them.. In that search , he is bound to do mistakes ... ofCourse he is also an ordinary human being .

He has one special thing in him .. that made me really like him .. He wants tamil movies to go beyond the level of the so-called Hollywood .. He has that burning desire within him .. Whenever we feel our tamil movies can't even comparable to English movies .. He comes with a big bang silencing his detractors that we are not less than those Ppl ... Even today we see lot of English musik videos in VH1, MTV etc ... Shankar is the only one in our Kollywood with whom we can rely on for taking such kind of musik videos. "Shakalaka baby" is one such try. I expect much more from him.

It is an unwritten rule in tamil industry , if any movie has good set of songs .. that movie is a sure success !! His songs will be composed mostly by Rahman .. which undoubtedly will be good ... What makes the difference between his movie & others is the way the songs are picturised ... He concentrates more into that. His success depends on how innovatively he picturises the songs ... Puts a lot of efforts in directing the song sequences which is a big Plus for his movie.

But all his movies has the same formula ... First half will be comedy oriented ...
with lot of "janaranjaga vasanams" & masalas spilled with "thookalana"
musiks. Slowly it moves into social touches with real day-to-day scenes in our society and makes us feel how worse we are in our social responsibility. Atlast, it reaches a peak point, showing the transformation of our society into a utopian concept, which makes us feel good & long for that kind of transformation. What we have to appreciate is that , his optimistic perception on the well being of our society.

He himself feels that he doesn't like his stereotyped way of directing movies.But as usual as most Cine-Ppl says , he also says ,Audience expects me to direct like that .. if i direct differntly according to my whims & fancies .. I will fail in this race. That is, he doesn't want to take risk by experimenting his movie , which i feel is not fair.As a director , he has to show varieties in his exhibit, which is clearly missing in him.But He is the only director who satisfies all classes of Ppl ... all A,B,C,D,E,F,.....Z... But the irony is that his movie "Nayak" failed miserably while facing the diversed culture of Indian Audience. That makes us feel that ManiRathnam is much more versatile director than him.

His aspirations of taking quality movies is projected thru' his new found role of production.He encourages the upcoming youngsters by financing them.This shows that he indirectly encourages good movies .. as though he is restricted from directing such movies.

His next upcoming movie is "Shivaji" with very huge expectation with our superstar in the main cast ... As usual lots of hypes will be there ... As usual .. whatever i mentioned above will be there in that movie also ... which i feel .. its boring man ... Its time u show your originality , try differently, like full-length good comedy movie , some emotional stories like "Kannathil", "BLACK" .... No, these Cine ppl think on their way .. They think in glitzy-glossy-fancy things ..... Shankar is an excellent example for such things.
