A Good Song - My Definition
According to me, Good song is one which once heard some 2 or 3 days before, must linger on our ears when we are in completely different situations like in middle of some serious work in office or while taking bath or while riding to some distant places.
I still remember upto this day, in my younger school days , it was during my 9th standard quarterly exam time. After completing that difficult mathematics exam and while riding with the moment of satisfaction in my cycle to home, heard the song , 'Ennavale Adi Enavale' from a tea-shop. After that moment, i've heard that song in different occasions in different moment but never paid great attention to that song.But after all my exams got over, when i was travelling in 18G from Tambaram, in that 1-hour journey, i dont know, somehow this song without any external factors, kept on lingering on my ears and after that point only i realised, that I was attracted to that song.
According to me, Music doesn't know any language, culture, color, age or nationality.In short, Music is universal and is the only one entity in this earth which binds a person from one end of the earth to another.
To me , any music which satisfies the above definition will attract me and will definitely finds a place in my favorite collection list of songs which i've started compiling from the day I landed in US (Apr 5,2006) and upto this day.
My Music list is a kind of very personal to me. I know each and every song on what situation i got attracted to that particular song and also it reminds me the beautiful life scenario which I was going through at that time. So each song has a bit of history attached to it and im the only one who knows about it. It'd be kept as personal and im proud in rejoicing that while listening to it.
My Music List is not just to portray great and good songs which are known to everyone.Rather it just portrays my discovery of inclination to that song which I was unaware before that moment.
Recently I got attracted to this transcript from the movie, "Anything Else", which kept on lingering in my ears for some days after watching the movie.I'd like to quote those, "How strange the life is, how full of inexplicable mystery.Well, you know, it's like anything else."
Likewise, i hope i'll swim through this mysterious and surprising life with music and keep collecting good music and it will stand as symbol to every nuances of my life and can be understood only by me and not by anyone else.
